It's time for our fifth meeting of 2014 !!!
This will be a very special meeting, a swap meet plus a speech about LEDs with a LED demonstration.
Reefers Direct will be hosting this meeting.

For the swap meet bring your excess unwanted aquarium gear to swap with fellow reefers. Plenty of stories an good times to be swaped too
DOnt forget the POTM, with raffel tickets going to the voters choice.

Saturday May 31st, 2014 Swap meet starts at 4:00PM and meeting at 7:00PM, but you can come earlier, the store will be open all day, make sure you bring the reef equipment that you no longer need to sell or trade.

I keep water, last checked about 600 gallons worth.
Problem is animals keep using it as there water closet.
Worst of all the littlest ones keep using up all the supplies.
It would be good to know if you are bringing something for the swap meet, please list it here, this is not necessary though, but at least it would give us an idea of what we would find there.
Also if you're looking for something, chances are somebody else has it and maybe is not bringing it because he/she doesn't know somebody else needs it.
I'll be bringing the following to the swap meet:
1 6g Nano tank.
1 12g Nano tank
4 250 Watts Metal halide ballasts
1 175 Watts Metal Halide fixture
Plus I have a bunch of other misc. items
- 75 Gallon Tank / Asking $100
- CPR CS202 Overflow Box with hoses (rated for 1500gph) Asking $75 B/O
- AquaPro Sealife 125 sump Asking $75
- ASM G3 skimmer with upgraded pump (Marineland NJ 4500) Asking $100
- No Name Sump, has to be rated for 125+ by the size of it. Asking $50 look at pic.
- Two Little Fishies Phosban Reactor 150 w pump. Asking $40.
- Wooden stand for tank. I made it for the 75 but never finished it. Its made of 4x4's and has a 1 1/2 inch top. Each corner is braced with a metal L brace. Asking $50
- 35LB's of live Marco Rock with a few Figi. A couple are big a couple are small. Asking $50 for all, I'll even give you the container I put it in. Thats less then $2 a lb for live rock......
- Aqua Illumination Controller with cords and box. Asking $40 firm

I'll also bring a 45g tank that needs to be re-silicon-ed, free for whoever wants to fix it.
I'll be bringing a bunch of odds n ends but will have several acclimate pro's/ juniors and some REd sea system components probably one of the 50 gallon barrels bunch of marco dry rock various grades of new n used sand, Im sure ill find some other stuff while I'm loading up. Maybe some apex parts.
Four individual systems Right now.
30gal red sea 130d lps/softies/anemone tank, kalk ato, reef bright led strip.
40 softies set up.
550 total gallon marineland 300 DD main system 18 months old now and stabilized. T5 VHO lights/ BLUE led strip, Fully custom built LIFE REEF sump and FUGE, AWESOME 60" tall skimmer, and 1000+ gallon rated custom Ca reactor, 3 50 gallon attached SPS frag systems lite with a combination of HM and LED and T5 fixtures.
A 200 gallon MARS quarintine with UV system/ medication for new arrivals.
Still lots to learn about the hobby but I have amassed a great collection of real beauties. I have broken past the stage of keeping things alive and now there actually growing out. Which is a big hurdle for many beginners I must admit. Good information and advise is hard to get sometimes and the club has done wonders with respect to quality advise and help in the hobby.
